"Isabelle D. Inghilleri is a french/norwegian artist. After graduating from the Royal College of Art, she lived and worked in Berlin and France for a few years, she is now based in Oslo. Inghilleri's work deals with our somewhat problematic relationship to nature, and how nature and animals interact with human-made spaces. Natural history museums and zoological gardens with their awkward way of displaying and collecting animals has been of great inspiration. Through painting and installation she shows the bizarre, unnaturel and sometimes fatel connection between man and nature." ArtLyst
