Hatch was first exposed to Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” when her mother read her the book as a child, and to this day she owns a couple of books that contain the original illustrations. “It has that kind of resonance,” Hatch said of the tale. “Like it’s always been living inside of me.”
