Alice Liddell belongings

Alice Liddell's personal effects including her pocket watch, calling card cases and silver scissors can also be seen at the Oxford Museum. There is a souvenir biscuit tin given to Alice and her family by Carroll, and hand-drawn place cards used at a dinner party held by Alice.

A new permanent display in Oxford Museum entitled Looking for Alice explores the lives of Lewis Carroll and Alice Liddell. The displays tell the story behind the stories and include many of Alice’s personal effects such as her dress, watch and fan.
